I must say this bottle must have had storage issues. Burnt finish horrible sour mouthfeel
Not bad, but a bit overpriced.
67 Pall Mall. Delightful Sancerre. High acid, lots of minerality, green fruit. Well balanced, good medium finish.
In the glass this is a beautiful straw colour. It has legs like a strong red and looking at the bottle it is 14% so into bold red territory.
It is summer on your nose with hints of freshly cut grass and Juicy Fruit chewing gum (honestly!).
On the palate I found white peach, honey dew melon initially with strong minerals and a slight lemon and lime aftertaste.
It is medium dry and fairly sharp but not overly acidic. In my opinion it is strong enough flavoured to pair with most foods.
I loved it!
In the glass pale straw in colour with aromas of bubblegum and hint of fresh grass and meadow flowers. On the palate white peach, slate/minerals, lemon, lime and honeydew melon. A complex white that is light, dry, fairly acidic yet not... it has a soft gentle finish. I like it alot... its gert lush.
